I own a Ford Mondeo 2001 Estate 2.0 TDDI. I have been replacing my DMF and clutch this weekend, and after this we did a test drive yesterday, all was fine. (Speedo not working afterwords, but that is a different story).. Today, I have been replacing thermostat, and fault-seeking the speedo. I've just bought a 2001 mondeo tddi with 200k, for only £300 and i love it, so dont mind playing with it but I don't want to spend money on it. The issue is it holds back in 1st and 2nd but flies (for what it is) in all the other gears.
